Overview
ACE-031 is a recombinant fusion protein consisting of the extracellular domain of the activin receptor type IIB (ActRIIB) fused to the Fc portion of human IgG1. It acts as a soluble decoy receptor that binds and neutralizes myostatin and related TGF-beta superfamily ligands.
