CJC-1295 (With DAC) Research Compound
Research Use Only
This product is intended for laboratory research purposes only. It is not intended for human or veterinary use, food, cosmetic, household, or agricultural applications. Not for human consumption.
Overview
CJC-1295 with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) is a modified growth hormone-releasing hormone analog featuring a maleimidopropionic acid group that enables covalent binding to serum albumin. This modification extends the half-life from approximately 30 minutes (no DAC version) to approximately 8 days, allowing for sustained GH elevation in research protocols.
Mechanism of Action
CJC-1295 with DAC stimulates growth hormone release through GHRH receptor activation:
- Extended duration through albumin binding
- Sustained elevation of GH and IGF-1 levels
- Once-weekly dosing protocols in research
- Maintains somatotroph stimulation over time
Research Applications
- Long-acting GHRH analog studies
- Sustained GH release patterns
- Comparative pharmacokinetics vs. no DAC version
- Body composition research
- IGF-1 elevation studies
Handling & Storage
