FOXO4-DRI Research Compound
Research Use Only
This product is intended for laboratory research purposes only. It is not intended for human or veterinary use, food, cosmetic, household, or agricultural applications. Not for human consumption.
Overview
FOXO4-DRI (FOXO4 D-Retro-Inverso peptide) is a cell-penetrating senolytic peptide designed to selectively eliminate senescent cells. By disrupting the interaction between FOXO4 and p53, the peptide releases p53 to trigger apoptosis specifically in senescent cells while sparing healthy cells.
Mechanism of Action
FOXO4-DRI eliminates senescent cells through:
- Cell-penetrating peptide delivery
- FOXO4-p53 interaction disruption
- p53 nuclear exclusion release
- Senescent cell-selective apoptosis
- D-retro-inverso stability enhancement
Senolytic Mechanism
| Step | Process |
|---|---|
| 1 | Cell penetration |
| 2 | FOXO4 binding |
| 3 | p53 release from cytoplasm |
| 4 | p53 nuclear translocation |
| 5 | Apoptosis induction |
